Warehouse Associate/Non CDL Flatbed Driver

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate/Non CDL Flatbed Driver on behalf of our client in Prescott Valley, AZ.

**Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus** ** This opportunity is at the employer's ProWater Irrigation location **

Location: Horizon Prescott Valley, AZ - H161; 6300 East State Route 69, Prescott, Arizona - 86314.

Pay: $18-$22+/hour and up to $2,500 through the employer's performance bonuses in the summer.

Work Hours: Monday Friday 7:30am-4pm

What to Expect?

The Warehouse Associate supports the team and the employer's customers by accurately and safely receiving/pulling orders in a fast-paced environment. the employer's Backup Drivers will fill in as needed making safe, complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to customers while complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other applicable regulations.

On a daily basis the employer's Warehouse Associate:

Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.

Assists in loading the delivery truck.

Receives shipments, logs into inventory, maintains inventory through audits.

Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.

Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.

Assists in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.

Other duties as assigned.

On an as needed basis the employer's backup drivers:

Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.

Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.

Collect payments and accurately document delivery.

Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).

Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.

Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.

Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

To be at least 21 years old.

A valid driver's license (Commercial Driver’s License, CDL,  if applicable), preferably with HAZMAT endorsement.

A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) indicating no more than 2 combined violations or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

High school diploma or GED.

Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds.

Prior forklift experience.

Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.

Prior experience in distribution, general labor or warehousing preferred.
