We are looking for a Tractor/Flatbed Driver on behalf of our client in Richmond Hill, GA.
Description The employer is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Tractor/Flatbed Driver to join the employer's Richmond Hill, GA team, responsible for transporting finished precast goods and equipment efficiently and securely. What You'll Do: Safely operate a tractor with a flatbed trailer to transport finished precast products to customers within designated timeframes. Transport heavy equipment to and from job sites as needed, ensuring secure and proper handling. Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions with precision and safety. Perform all duties in compliance with company safety and environmental policies and procedures. Follow all company policies and operational guidelines consistently. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding schedules and any issues encountered during transportation. Ability to accurately record mileage and hours driven. Ability to work a variable-hour schedule. Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to be self-motivated and an effective team player. Physical Demands: Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Ability to sit for long periods, stand, walk, type, carry, kneel, ascend and descent stairs, and bend. Ability to complete truck inspections.
